Happy Saturday crafty pals! As of late, I have been

Paint Chip Pendants with Beckie of Infarrantly Creative over on Somewhat Simple.
So, while the husband is spending countless hours in the hardware store this weekend, instead of tapping your foot and asking "are we done yet", go pick out some fun paint chips and be inspired. You'll be glad you did!
Love the inspiration! I, too, have a pile of these things, and have played around with them, but I like your link ideas. :)
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I think it's pretty wasteful to grab something like that with intent of crafting with it, if you don't actually want it for painting your house. It's stealing from people who do, and those things are not free for the store owners.
ReplyDeleteLove the ideas however I do have a problem with using the paint samples. Make your own paint samples with scrap paint you have. Don't take those from stores that provide them as a help to when I need to paint.

ReplyDeleteI made it here! I linked back to you guys to give you the credit, but I wanted to go ahead and let you know that I appreciate the idea... I love this piece!

P.S. This is a great article on the "ethics" of using paint chips (if you don't already have a stockpile of them from when you are trying to decide what colors to paint your entire house!).

I think using paint chips for amazing crafts and works of art is a wonderful idea! I doesn't matter if you take them to buy paint or make something wonderful to add your home
ReplyDeleteIT'S NOT STEALING decorating your home is the same as painting it so it's no problem
ReplyDeletep.s. these are awesome
